Welcome to the FitHab® website!

I just wanted to share some super valuable information with you and anyone who is willing to look, listen, and learn.

When I meet with my clients for the first time, we do an evaluation. In the evaluation, a major component is the postural analysis.

The analysis allows me to assess the client’s posture and see any postural deviations.  If any postural deviations are found (in most cases I do), we begin the path of education for the client on appropriate stretches, strengthening, and other tactics to combat and correct these imbalances that effect the client in so many ways. Many people suffer from pain and it may stem from bad posture (while in the awake or sleep hours). So many people tend to medicate and mask the pain and not address the underlining issue. The answer is not always to medicate, but usually to educate.

Our posture and how we move are the first things that others see and it speaks volumes.  Good posture is vital for quality of movement and quality of life. If your posture is not right, you don’t feel right. Proper education and the reinforcement of techniques to maintain healthy posture is a life long fitness habit.

My good friend and client, Matt. We have worked on his posture and more.

I want to share an educational cartoon video you will like from Ted-Ed, of  Ted Talks.

When you see this cartoon, you will see how important our posture really is and how we sabotage ourselves when we do not engage in postural improving/maintenance techniques.

If you are interested in improving your posture, how you move, how you feel, and more, please contact me to make an appointment for a free 30 minute, no obligation meeting to see how we can work together to improve your fitness and quality of life.

Make fitness a habit. Rehabilitate yourself with fitness. Fitness habits that work. FitHab®

Thanks for visiting.

Be fit and have purpose!

Sincerely,

Luis Torres
